We are seeking an engineer to enhance and support our production process, contributing to its efficiency and growth. You will serve as a critical bridge between the R&D team and the Manufacturing team, playing a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication, efficient processes, and successful product transitions from development to production.


YOUR ROLE
The main purpose.

x Main technical interface between manufacturing and R&D
x Continuously enhance our product by incorporating manufacturing feedback in our test setups, existing products, and new developments


YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
The things you do.

x Act as the main technical liaison between R&D and the Manufacturing team, comprehending the complexities of the product's design, features, and intended functionality to effectively convey this information to the Manufacturing team
x Collect feedback from the Manufacturing team and communicate it back to the R&D team for continuous improvement
x Collaborate in designing products in a way that can be efficiently manufactured at scale, offering input on materials, manufacturing processes, and component sourcing while considering factors like cost, lead time, and production feasibility
x Analyze and optimize production processes to boost efficiency and quality. Apply engineering principles to streamline production workflows, reduce cycle times, improve yield rates, and minimize defects
x Champion Product quality by helping to establish quality control procedures, testing protocols, and inspection guidelines to ensure that products consistently meet the required specifications and performance standards
x Assist in planning the transition of products from the R&D phase to full-scale production by creating detailed production plans, coordinating equipment setup, validating processes, and conducting pilot production runs to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruptions
x Play a pivotal role in troubleshooting when issues arise in the production process, working closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose the root causes of problems, implement corrective actions, and proactively prevent similar issues
x Create and maintain detailed documentation of production processes, specifications, procedures, and any changes made over time. Additionally, provide regular reports to management and stakeholders detailing production progress and improvements
x Ensure the effective training of manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment, and technologies to uphold operational excellence


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
The things you have.

x You have a master’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering, engineering technology or comparable through experience
x You are familiar with mechanical CAD programs like Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, PTC Creo, Fusion 360, or other
x You want to continuously improve yourself and improve processes where you see improvements possible
x Fluency in English, written and spoken
