Luna Maris

Luna graduated as a Biomedical Engineer at Ghent University. She found her passion in machine learning, an exciting subfield of artificial intelligence in which computer algorithms learn from experience how to solve tasks. Through a variety of courses and projects, she became familiar with computer vision for medical images, such as mammograms, fundus photographs, prostate MRI and robotic surgery videos.

At XEOS she will conduct research on how deep learning can bring image quality to another level, as well as facilitate image interpretation and guide image-based decision making
